White-water kayak course in Bulgaria

Tour highlights: This is for you who have no experience with white-water kayaking. The Course is of one-week duration and it takes place in very beautiful natural surroundings in the Pirin Mountain near the river Struma, which is one of the biggest rivers in Bulgaria. At this place the water reaches temperatures of about 18-22 Celsius during the summer, which makes it a suitable and comfortable place to learn more about white-water kayaking. Not far from the place there is hot mineral waters – a great place to relax after a day full of adventure and new experiences.

Besides participating in the course you will have the opportunity to go on excursions in the area – an area that has a lot to offer! You could choose a hike in the beautiful Pirin Mountain, a trip to the town Sandanski – spa resort, a sightseeing tour to the famous and breathtaking Rila Monastery or how about a trip to Melnik, where you can taste some of the finest wines in Bulgaria. All this and much more can be arranged with the English-speaking course leader, who does not mind guiding when he is not instructing kayak.

Level: To participate in the white-water kayak course we require as a minimum that you can swim.
